Sr. Warden's Message

Sometimes we feel like a small church. For instance, on those Sundays when I look around the Sanctuary, and everyone is in “their seat,” and I know everyone in church. I like that.

Other times, we feel like a small church with a BIG appetite. That would be the case this Fall.

 Just consider the calendar....

Saturday October 6:
Always fun and this one will be no exception.

Saturday October 13:
Yard Sale

We are participating again this year in the Annual College Park Yard Sale, and will also have a Barbeque Sale that same day. You can get sandwiches, plates, or bulk BBQ. Yum.

Saturday October 20:
Chili Cook-Off

We will host our first ever Chili Cook-Off, as well as our Annual Blessing of the Animals celebration, our annual Bake Sale and other Fall Festival events. Now that’s a full day!

Saturday October 20:
Choral Guild of ATL

To make the day even fuller, The Choral Guild of Atlanta will perform its first concert of the season for us at 4:00 pm in the Sanctuary. We’ll follow that with a Reception in Bott Hall.

Thursday November 1:
All Souls Requiem

The always beautiful All Souls Mass in the Sanctuary at 7:30.

Wednesday November 7:
Holy Comforter Trip

We celebrate the Eucharist and host dinner with the congregants of Holy Comforter…a special evening for all of us.

Saturday November 10:
Anniversary Dinner

Dinner will start at 6:00pm, but you’ll hear a lot more about this evening.

All of this and we’re not even at the middle of November when we finish! We’re a little church with a big appetite and a big heart.

You can’t beat that!
