Leaders

The Episcopal Church affirms and actively encourages the ministry of all baptized persons. This means, among other things, that leadership is shared by all of the people of God, each according to their gifts and desire to lead in ministry, both in the congregation and in the larger community.

Under the guidance of the clergy, many different ministries are pursued, from elected leadership on the parish vestry to ministry with children, feeding the hungry, advocacy and evangelism, and leadership in Sunday worship.
  • Do you see a need in our parish congregation or community at large?
  • Would you like to participate as a leader in bringing the love and grace of God to others?
  • Do you feel the desire to “get more involved”?
If so, contact Father Spenser or Deacon Donna and begin discerning together how we can serve God and our neighbors.

Leadership Areas

Leaders come in many forms. Some are ordained, while others are lay leaders. Some provide specialized skill and knowledge as staff members, while others share their time and talents in their spare time as volunteers.
