Lay Ministries - We are always looking for eager
parishioners to serve as greeters, read at our services, serve on altar guild teams, or train to administer communion to shut-ins.
If you would like to serve in one of these ministries, please contact the church office.

St. John's Choir - One of the great joys of each
service is to hear our wonderful choir sing. If you'd like to add your voice, please contact our organist/choirmaster, Tom
Elston (stjohns.atl.musicians@gmail.com), or see a choir member, or contact the church office.

Acolytes - A great ministry for youth and adults
who would like to carry crosses, lead processions, and help the priests during services. Please contact the church office
if you'd like to serve in this ministry.
Speeders - This is a lively fellowship group for
people 55 and over (but we don't check IDs, so feel free to join us at any age). The group meets on the first Thursday of
each month for Holy Eucharist, lunch and a brief program.
"Holy Grounds" - Join Father Troy on the first
Monday evening of each month, at Jeoffrey's Coffee Shop on Virginia Avenue, for coffee and conversation about whatever's on
your mind.
Alcoholics Anonymous - for almost 75 years, AA
has helped millions battle the physical, familial and social struggles associated with alcoholism. St. John's is proud
to sponsor meetings of this valuable organization each Monday and Thursday evening at 8pm.
Check our calendar page for listings of events.
