Below is some important information about this wonderful
and needed ministry.

Not To be
Served, But to Serve
Those at Family Life Ministries have
open ears and hearts to the cry of the poor and oppressed - this is a community
concern not a denominational one. We must do it together, for the poor and
needy will always be with us.
The mission of Family Life Ministries
is to help relieve the physical needs of those who fall between the cracks of
society, the poor, the distressed, and the underprivileged.
FACTS
Family Life Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit organization supported by
private donations, church mission funds, grants, and company Human Resource
funds. Family Life has one full time Director and well over one hundred
regular volunteers who oversee ministry duties.
This ministry was founded in 1982
with the mission to provide immediate assistance for those in need in our
service area. Clients are thoroughly screened for eligibility through
local agencies and sources. After screening, they are helped on the basis
of their need up to three times per year. We encourage and assist them in
finding employment. In addition, we give counseling and share financial
management ideas with interested clients. It is our goal to assist, pray
with, and encourage, in order to get them back on their feet. With the help and
direction of God, volunteers, and financial assistance, we will continue this
ministry for many years to come.
OPPORTUNITIES
So where do you fit in? We need your prayers, financial and
physical support. You can act as a volunteer or a spokesperson in your
church or civic group. You can assist us with food drives, or donate
furniture and other household goods which we would pass on to a grateful
client. We will even pick it up for you! Call for pick-up:
