Emile and Jane Escalera are adopting a baby boy from Kurgan, Russia. His name is Yuri Alexander Escalera. The Escalera's left for Russia on March 30th to visit their new son for the first time. After hours stuck in a cold Russian airport and delayed by a whole day, they finally arrive in Kurgan. Below is their first photograph as a family.
They have now gone on the final trip to Kurgan for the legal
process of adopting Yuri and have arrived back home in the U.S. They were in
Russia for 2 1/2 weeks and the trip to Atlanta was over 20 hours. Do you think he is tired?
